Friday November 21st 1879 I helped a little with the work all the forenoon. Bird and Hatt went over to the noon to meet Charlie he did not come. In the afternoon Mrs Sanders and Mrs Smith came and were here till after supper. Hatt and Bird went to town again in the afternoon, and Rob, Hatt and Mrs Hodgeman went to the depot at six oclock for Mrs Jones. We young folks all went to society at night Bird played for the boys. Saturday November 22nd 1879 I helped with the work all the forenoon. As soon as dinner was over we girls got ready and Rob took us to the depot with the girls. After they had started we came back up town and attended to some errands Mother and I worked all the evening to do the Saturdays baking I washed out some tidys and had them to iron after night Hatt finished up my sacque in the evening I like it very much better than I did before. Weather pleasant.
