Friday December 5th 1879 As soon as I ate my breakfast I came down to Mrs Berrys to see a lady there and made arrangements to have mothers dress made next week, It was raining real hard by the time I got home and continued most of the day and evening, I helped with the work and knit on Otts mittens. Saturday December 6th 1879 I helped with the work today and Hatt finished her sacque, I got Otts mittens done and mine nearly finished. Rob moved his things over to his office this afternoon. Sunday December 7th 1879 I helped do up the work this morning and Rob went with me to church. I helped with the dinner work and in the afternoon wrote to Charlie. Mother went over to see how John Middleton was. In the evening we went to hear Prof Eggert lecture. I was disappointed in it and was sorry I did not go to my own church.
