Monday May 27th 1889 I washed every hand all forenoon as we did the working and I had a great many other things to see about. Will took we down to Aunt Marge in the afternoon. The girls were down there and we had a great visit. Will built side walk to the south gate in the forenoon and began the one toward the town. I helped Adda some with the wash and went to bed early. Tuesday May 28th 1889 I did baking this morning, helped iron and made pressed chicken to bake over to Halts. Will finished the side walk and about three oclock he bitched (?) up and even went out to Ward-Louse (?) to see how the folks were getting on with their morning. They had not made much progress today. I stopped in town and got things for supper. Wednesday May 29th 1889 I was budy about the work all forenoon and soon after dinner I went to town. I called at Esthers and did a little shopping. I got down to Hatties about three oclock. It was Robbies birthday and he had a party. I helped wait-on the children. Will came over to supper and we
