Sunday June 2d 1889 I hurried through with my work and Will and I went to church. He took Bird home before that. I helped with the dinner which I got home and worked with the chickens in the afternoon before I sat down to read and write. Monday June 3rd 1889 We did not wash this morning. I did some sewing today. I made Mother a skirt. I went after supper with Will to see her. We were down to Hatts a little while. Thursday June 4th 1889 We washed this morning and I wrote a letter to Mother before noon. Soon after dinner Will took me to town and we went to see Bird start home. It was late tonight before we got the supper work done up. Wednesday June 5th 1889 I help with the ironing this morning and done a great deal of the work. The house work kept me busy all day. I did mending in the evening and put clothes away. We got a letter today from Wills sister Joe. She will come Monday night. Thursday June 6th 1889 I worked very hard all the forenoon and soon after dinner Will took me over to Fannys to spend the afternoon. I had a pleasant visit and Will came to supper. We drove down to Aunt Marys before coming home to see about Grandmas birthday party. She was there and we are going to have the party. Friday June 7th 1889 We ironed this morning the things washed yesterday and in the afternoon gave my room and the parlors a good cleaning up. and washed windows. I was tired and went to bed early. Saturday June 8th 1889 I gave the upper story a good sweeping and cleaning up and after dinner the halls. Mothers room and the back part of the house with Soldas help. Father & Mother came today. Sunday June 9th 1889 I was busy about the work nearly the entire day. I read and wrote a little. Father & Mother went over to Fannys for dinner. It was a chill day after the rain.
