Wednesday February 12th 1890 We got the things ironed this forenoon that we washed yesterday and Will helped me wash again in the afternoon. he picked a chicken for me in the evening and brought the clothes in. weather pleasant. Thursday February 13th 1890 We got the ironing done before noon besides the other work. We churned after dinner. The girls were over all the afternoon. It was a bright pretty day. I did a little sewing and knitting what time I had. Friday February 14th 1890 I did a little more ironing this forenoon after I got my other work done. Will was over town on business in the afternoon. I knit a little and helped with the work I did not feel well today. Will had to get me a cup of coffee before I could get up. Saturday February 15th 1890 I felt some better today and was busy about the work all forenoon. Will went to the west farm with the Stockman boys in the forenoon and did not get home till two oclock. he then went to town and had a talk with Dr Rochey about me. I knit a little and read some. Sunday February 16th 1890 I was busy about the work all the forenoon and read a little in the evening. Ott & Fanny were over in the afternoon and stayed till after supper they did not stop long in the evening as it was getting cloudy and very dark. I did not feel week in the afternoon and evening. Monday February 17th 1890 I did considerable work about the house in the forenoon. Mother went to town in the afternoon and sent home some groceries and new china for Lee's room. I did some work up stairs. I felt much worse after supper and Will had to go to town at eleven oclock for medicine for me. Tuesday February 18th 1890 I was not able to get up till noon. Winnie did not got to school. I was up all afternoon and done some sewing in my room.
