Tuesday November 4th 1890 I helped some with the work, Fanny came over to spend the day. Ott was down at the election. I worked on my [hoods?] all day. Mary Woolf was here awhile. Wednesday November 5th 1890 We washed this forenoon. It was a lovely day. Mother went to Aunt Ems with John & Hatt, and in the afternoon Will and I went down as he can not work. The ride was very nice. Mother came home before supper. Lee went back to Burlington tonight. Brown came back. Thursday November 6th 1890 I ironed some this morning and helped with the work generally. Mother went to town in the afternoon. I worked on the hoods and Will staid in the house and read. Friday November 7th 1890 I done some sweeping and helped fix the green tomato pickle before Will and I started down to Stevens. We had a very pleasant visit and got home before night. Mother was in town in the afternoon but got home first. Saturday November 8th 1890 It was a drizzling ugly day. Mother went to town early in the morning. Will was about the house all day. I was working on the hoods what time I had. There was a heavy rain at night which was so much needed. Sunday November 9th 1890 I helped a little with the work and went to church alone for the first time since I was married. Anna had dinner nearly ready when I came honme. I read all the afternoon and wrote in the evening. Mother came home tonight. Monday November 10th 1890 I helped do some baking this morning before going over to help Hatt sew. Anna washed today. It was nearly night when I got home. I worked on my hoods in the eve. Tuesday November 11th 1890 I ironed some this morning and went to town with Will in the cart. I helped Hattie sew all day. Will went to the valley for Ott in the afternoon to see the old school house sold it brought $41.50. Mother come to town to stay all night. I worked on the hoods in the evening.
