Friday April 17th, 1891 I finished the ironing this morning besides doing other work. Will was lying on the couch most of the afternoon sick and it was raining too. I worked on the net and got it done ready to fringe. I wrote to Mother today Saturday April 18th, 1891 Us girls move things from the north room and Mothers room back and forth so Will and I will sleep in the north room after this. Will and I went to town in the afternoon. I drove on out to see Fanny and found her quite comfortable. In the evening Agnes and I oiled the kitchen floor and finished fringing the net. A warm day Sunday April 19th, 1891 I was busy about the house all the forenoon. Will moved the big stove in the parlor and I was making some changes. We went over to Woolfs in the afternoon and I got the supper through alone as Agnes did not come back. Will went to town a few minutes after supper. Monday April 20th, 1891 We washed this forenoon though I do not feel well. There was a hard shower about noon. I ironed a little in the afternoon. Will was fixing pasture fence. Tuesday April 21st, 1891 I was busy with the work most of the day. I finished ironing and I practiced some in the afternoon. John and Hatt were here a little while in the evening. Wednesday April 22nd, 1891 I was busy with the work all the forenoon. I practiced some in the afternoon and worked a little out in the yard. The incubator began to hatch today. Weather pleasant Thursday April 23rd, 1891 We had another man come to work today. (Will Eavens) They fixed the fence around the pasture so they took the cattle out before noon. The chickens are coming out slowly. I put in my spare time with them. I had a letter from Mother today. The boys are cleaning the yard for me. weather pleasant
