Monday May 25th 1891 I had considerable extra work to do so did not wash today. I was down to Niphers late in the afternoon. They called Will out last night at two oclock that the old gentleman was dead, and he was there the rest of the night. Tuesday May 26th 1891 It was a pleasant day and we done a large washing today. Mother and Father come home this morning and after we had got the dinner over Will took us all to town in the Surry. We stopped at Hatties awhile. Mrs Bremmer went home tonight. Wednesday May 27th 1891 We were busy with our work all the forenoon and in the afternoon We went to Mr Niphers funeral. We rode around town some after coming from the cemetery. I practiced a little in the evening. Will went to town. Thursday May 28th 1891 It was a pleasant day. Mother went to town to spend the day. I was busy with the work all the forenoon and was all the afternoon out where the boys were fixing the chicken house so nothing so nothing could get in. Will and I rode over town after supper.
