Thursday October 29th 1891 We ironed, baked bread and made sweet apple preserves in the forenoon and I worked on my dress in the afternoon. In the evening I cut Nellie a dress. Friday October 30th 1891 I worked on Nellies dress till about ten oclock. Mary Woolf came then and helped me the rest of the day on mine. Fanny was over in the morning. Hattie is cleaning house. I sewed all the evening. weather warm and dry. Saturday October 31st 1891 I sewed most of the forenoon. Mother and Agnes done the work. Will and I were in town in the afternoon. I went to see Aunty Walker she was thrown from a carriage and hurt yesterday. I done some trading and was down at Hatts. I cleaned out my work basket in the evening. It has been a cold windy day. Sunday November 1st 1891 I was busy about the work all the forenoon. Agnes went home for the day. I wrote to Charlie and Lee in the afternoon and done some other writing. Will was over to Marys awhile. I was sick in the evening. Monday November 2nd 1891 It was a fine day but we did not work as I felt a little sore yet from my pain last night. Mother went to town in the afternoon. I was sewing all day. Tuesday November 3d 1891 This is election day. It looked like rain but we did the washing and got the clothes dry so we ironed most of them. Will was nearly sick tonight and I was very tired so we went to bed early. Wednesday November 4th 1891 I finished the ironing before I got the second breakfast. I sewed on Mothers dress all day. In the evening I was working on muslin for myself. Mother went to town again this afternoon. The weather is very fine. The girls in town are busy with a dress maker. The men are husking corn.
