Saturday December 12th 1891 Mother went to town again today. I was busy all the forenoon with the work and was sewing all afternoon. I went to town in the evening called at Esthers and spent the evening at Hatties. weather pleasant. Sunday December 13th 1891 I was busy about the work all forenoon. Josie went to church. The folks were over in the afternoon. I was sick in the evening and could not got to church but wrote a short letter to Lizzie Duncan. weather pleasant. Monday December 14th 1891 We washed this morning and Will and I walked over town after dinner. I finished paying note for borrowed money at Savings Bank. I was down to see the girls a little while and stopped at Auntys. It was raining on me when I came home. I worked on my stand cover in the evening. Tuesday December 15th 1891 It was a rainy gloomy day. I helped iron some in the forenoon and cut up carpet rags all afternoon. Worked on my stand cover in the evening. Wednesday December 16th 1891 I was busy with the work all forenoon. We finished ironing. I put a quilt together in the afternoon for Mother and the evening Will and I spent out at Woolfs. Will was ploughing today. Thursday December 17th 1891 It was a clear coold day. Father and Mother spent the day in town. I was busy with the work all forenoon and in the afternoon cut up my old green silk dress to make a quilt. Will and I went to town in the evening. Fruiday December 18th 1891 I finished Mothers quilt this morning and helped Josie with some washing. Mr Haddock went away in the afternoon and I gave his room a good cleaning up and started to put the quilt in. Johnny started to Illinois tonight for a visit. I wrote to Lizzie Lindley. I worked at my stand cover in the eve. Got them ready to fringe.
