Monday April 4th 1892 I felt better and done my share of the work. The girls come over to help thinking I was still sick. They stayed all day and we had a good visit. It rained very hard last night and there was water in the cellar this morning. I knit what time I felt like it. Tuesday Apirl 5th 1892 It was a cold windy day and Mother and I both spent the entire day at home. It took all the forenoon to do the work and in the afternoon I knit and she worked on her quilt. Mr Chunley came last night. I wrote and read in thee evening. Wednesday April 6th 1892 After the morning work was done Mother went to town to spend the day. Will helped me with the dinner and then took me out to Marys awhile. I read in the evening. Thursday April 7th 1892 Leonard helped wash this forenoon and we got that and our other work done so Mother and I went over to see Mrs Holson in her new house. I had a letter from Josie saying she could not come back at all. Will and I went down to see Agnes but could not get her. I stopped to see the girls awhile. Friday April 8th 1892 We got the ironing done in the forenoon and the other usual work. I went over to Folsoms, Wades and McGoverns in the afternoon. It was cold and windy. It was late when we got the supper work done so I only read a little before bed time. Saturday April 9th 1892 As soon as the morning work was done Will and I went to see a girl but did not get her. I was busy most of the afternoon with the work and Will and I went to town in the evening. Mays birthday. Sunday April 10th 1892 I was busy all forenoon with the work. Lee came home. Edith was over for dinner and her folks
