Tuesday May 24th 1892 I felt badly with my stomach today and did not help sew very much. I helped with the work some. Sadie went up to her Grandmas after supper. Mother and I worked a little in the gaden. I had a letter from Vene. Wednesday May 25th 1892 Mother went to town to spend the day as Hattie had company. Mr Nichols went home and Reimers & Peeks went to town to board. Miss Krupp finished my dress and wrap and began me a calico dress. I feel much better today. Thursday May 26th 1892 I went to town this morning to get fish for dinner. Sadie did some washing and ironed in the afternoon. Leonard worked about the place nearly all day fixing flower beds and making garden. Mother and I put my quilt back in the frames and quilted all afternoon. I sewed in the evening and wrote to Charlie. Friday May 27th 1892 It was a splendid day and we got the soap made. We did not do any of the work. The girls were over in the morning and finished the quilt. I bound it in the afternoon. Will and I went to Woolfs in the evening. Saturday May 28th 1892 It rained nearly all day. There was a show in town. Will helpd move things into the north room in the forenoon. I sewed all afternoon and evening. Sunday May 29th 1892 I was busy about the houe all forenoon. As soon as we had our dinner Mother and I walked over to Hatties. We had a talk about what arrangements can be made for Will and I to go away next fall. I read and wrote in the evening. Robbie is 9 years old. Monday May 30th 1892 We washed this forenoon though it was rainy. I got ready to go to town soon after dinner but was hindred by the rain. Mother and I were talking
