last fall. There is no opportunity to dispose of the property there now. I did not go down town again after dinner till we went to the depot at four oclock to start for Delavan. Harry Mason met us at the depot and we were soon over to Venes where we spent a pleasant evening. Wednesday August 24th 1892 Will and I went down to Duncans in the morning. I spent the forenoon there and Will came back for dinner. I rode down to the fair grounds in the afternoon with Lizzie Duncan. I went from there over to Venes and she and I spent the evening at Joe Woolfs. There was a slight rain this afternoon. Thursday August 25th 1892 Vene and I went to the fair most of the day, going home to get dinner. In the evening Will took us to hear the colored singers at the M. E. Church. the music was very fine. It was bed-time when we got home. Friday August 26th 1892 Mary Woolf came here this morning and she and I went up town together. In the afternoon we all went to the fair. I was with Lizzie Duncan and Mrs Davidson selecting chairs for Joe & Matties surprise on Monday night. I went to Joe Woolfs for supper. Will came for me. Saturday August 27th 1892 Will tool our things over to Duncans this morning. I was there till about the middle of the afternoon. we rode down to Will Duncans and back before supper. I went up town with Will in the evening, called at Sheeleys and John McKinstrys. Sunday August 28th 1892 We went to church this morning and Mrs Duncan went with us. Aunty Adams came back to dinner. In the afternoon we called at Fosters and to see Racheal Hess. Joe Duncan was over for supper and Will walked home with him and spent the evening. I spent the evening talking with Mr & Mrs Duncan and planning for our surprise party for tomorrow night.
