VanMeter is also complaining. and with that exception the boys are all well and ready for their rations and appear to be enjoying their Soldiers life hugely except one or two of the young men are wofully love sick if there. is any sign in love letter writing as some of them write on an average 2 each day and then tear them up again. We are going to move to Richmond on Saturday next and I will be home as soon as I can get leave of absence. I have verry laborious duties to perform until we get regularly established in Regiment and then I can get things to suit me better Just immagine that you had 75 children under your charge to feed and pleas and you will then have some ideah of what trouble it is keep them Satisfied but I thing it is impossible to keep some
