hing for them to return and they have commenced comeing back in Squads already this moring. Cap Bennett was gone to Liberty with 27 of the boys with him and I suppose did not more than get there before they ware ordered back which will disappoint them verry much. I found Frank Doughty & Luther Beaver on the cars as I come home yesterday. they had run off from home Sunday night and come here to join our Regiment for the war, but at dark last night Mrs. Beaver & W. Low was after them and took Luther home again and I never saw a fellow appear to feel worse when he had to go back. Frank Stayed with us. I do not think we will leave here for 2 or 3 days yet and maybe longer. If there is any possible chance I will see you again before I go away. I must quit for the Bugle is Sounding for duty, Your affectionate Husband A. F. Davis
