I think Fermans Marrying is what soldiers would call all camp news, at least for same time to come. Tell the children I will be looking for an answer from the letters I wrote them last week, and that I hope they are going to school Steady. I understand Dawson & Van Eaton are teaching which I thing is a good choice. by the people. Tell Doc. Fosdick to write me a letter and give some of the currant news of the day about Liberty. I must stop for I will be verry bussy until Frank Starts No more only Keep writing as long as you Keep able. I will not get home until hostilaties are settled in this part of the country as no one can get a furlough on any account whatever if he is sick he is discharged but no furloughs, but I am hopeful still as I think the matter will be settled in these parts by the time I want to come but dont build your hopes too high for the fall might be the greater your affectionate husband A.
