and should fall here that my rank now entitles me to more respect than formerly and that more pains would be taken to forward my remains to my friends but sincerely hope that when my body is sent to Liberty that I may be able to conduct the matter myself without any help.  You never told me what was done with the mare after Ferman went to school and whether you had sold her or not.  If you should have any of your wood delivered before I come home get some one who is not interrested to See to haveing it measured or you might get Short measure and not Know it.  The Orders are to prepare to march and the company are getting ready to Start So I must Stop for this time  Hereafter Direct to Lieut. A. F. Davis Com J, 15 Reg. Ind. Vol. you need not put on it in care of any One only as I above direct
