give enough of it to Henry Husted to buy the material for the clothes I want him to make and tell him if he can make them on them conditions and avail until the next pay day for the price of making for to do so if not all right I will get some one els to make them I would also like if you would pay the 6 dollars that H Tappen claims. I do not care whether you pay it to him or to Shideler but whoever does receive it make them give a receipt for it. What other little bills is due such as Cow pasture &c let them await until I come home. I received wages up to Sep 1st which amounted $85 83/100. I Kept $25.00 for my own use as I have been without so long that I owed about $5.00 and I had to buy some clothes and I expect to come home in 2 or 3 weeks and will need some then and taking evry thing into consideration Sixty is all I thought I could possibly spare this time, The 1st of November will soon be here and then our pay will again be due and I will have from $100.00 to $125.00 more due me and at New years the same amount or more so that I think we can get along comfortable and our crediters can afford to wait a little. I will tell you what I want you to send me by Wm D. Serring if I do not get to come home before he starts. 2 pr Socks 2 Canton Flannell under shirts 4 good white Shirts if you can get them made 2 pr Canton Drawers 2 good Silk Handkercheifs 1 Cravat and a pair of boots which I herewith Send an Order to Walton to make. I expect to Know in a week or two when I can come home and I will let you Know whether to send them or not. But One thing certain I want you use the money for yours and the childrens and Mothers comfort for I have dearly earned it and I want the loved ones to enjoy it and no doubt before you receive
