I will say that by what I knew of him before I left and some things that I have learned since entering the army (for a man learns a great many things about those at home even if he is in the Army 1000 of miles away from them) I have come to the conclusion that I know the man and his style dont suit me therefore I wrote what I did. Now let the Subject drop. I have the same old craly to make; that is no paymaster yet. It has been reported that he would not be here before the September pay day and that then he would pay us for four months. Hope he will If the Herald published a list of the names of the members of Cap Wingett Company, I wish you would cut it out and send it to me.. By the by how is your garden over the way Has A. M. B. settled down into private life
