I said I would send you that stat scrip but it is rather uncertain a bout our getting paid this time and I sold it to Rust for cash I had to pay Capt. Rector 10 percent for getting it for me and then it would have to be sent to Demoin City before you could have used it, so Capt Rector told me I thought it would be very necitary a bout getting it a gain and Wm and I will need it if we are not paid and if we are paid I will send you a Check since I sold it they say we will almost certain to get our pay. I was out of money and sold it for $22,50 in cash please write to me whether those clothes got through or not. Our regiment is all here now. I have not had a line from you yet
