The 12 I agan procede to write you wanted to know something about your affairs here [?] well I will try to tell you something about them I do not know just what your expenses are. I think that your fences will coust about $50 Father paid your taxes I do not know how much they wer but they they wer lite. I expect that you would like to know how times are her Stalk of all kinds are high Moneye is a geting plenty here but it seems as hard as ever for me to get any I saw Tom Bently last Sunday and he sends his respects to you Tom is a good feller he and George Ligget is about all the boys that I associate with George has got to be a [going?] he and Tom & I are a going to plumhollow next Saturday there is to be a protracted meeting commence on friday nexte I have not spent but one or two days there since you left. I am so little and ornley that I thought I had better stay a way awhile but I think I can venture there by this time and I am a going to hug four some of the galls untill they think that I am some account I have not sparked any of the girls for a long time but I am a going
