bring more men than just enough to fight against two thousand or twice that number I got aletter from Alsworth afew days ag he wanted to buy one of my horses James wrote to me that the Davice mar had been lame nearly ever I left so I that I would let her run on the grass this summer so if I was to sell one of the others it would break his team I want to say something in regard to that eighty acres of land that lays between our farms I should like very mutch to own it I dont beleav that it is owned by any one I think all there will be required to get it is to take the money and enter it I wish you would look after that some for me I think that I can rase the money if the land can be had I can't see any other place that I can lay my money out any better at the present, write and tell me whether you hav got your little acounts squared up or not if I cant get that land I can let you hav some money we hav a pleasant camp and plenty to live on I will put one dollar in this letter send me the amount in stamps write son as I should like to kno about the land J. Mann
