I will tell you who is my tent mates John Copeland is my Bunk mate Tress Keyser & Jim Legget is the other two that that stay in our tent all first rate fellows Tom Irvin is the capt of our mess Green Acord is in our mess Sam & Bob Ripley Mero Webster George Gedney &c Jenie I will ask Pardon of you, for opening a letter the other day that came addressed to your Joe it had went the Rounds Been down to Vicksburg I saw that it was your hand writing & I thaught that I would open it & if their was anything particular in it I would send it to you I found it writen by Jeney Scott & Mrs Rundle I hope that I have done no harm I never did like to have any of my letters opened By anybody But I Knew that if their was any particulars in it I could keep it to my self & send it to you I have it yet & if you wish it I will send it to you again I must quit writing for I am so nervis that I do not believe that you can read all of my nonsense I want you to let Salina Read this I will Probaly get more news to finish on in the morning we will have to go on Bregaid drill in a few minutes from now it is now half past 3 o clock. May 29th I am well this morning nothing new I have heard nothing since yesterdy & this is male day I expect to get som letters today if I am treated Right all of our folks are well acep Billy Ashton he is in the Hospitle But is getting Bettr now their is a Report going that we will be sent to mo to gard a Railroad the Junction or maken city if so we will be with in 250 miles of home this may be al gammet
