well school is out now and the schoolars are all gone so I guess I will stay and finish my letter I recieved a letter from Robert this week his eyes are almost well he says there is strong talk of their being disbanded but I do not have much hopes of it I read a letter yesterday from Uncles folks in [Miss?] they are all well they have sent me all their likenesses Aunt Susan Hester sent me Uncle Georges too so I have a prety good supply I had a letter from Renn saturday they said the rebbles were within 50 miles of them but I guess they are routed now the war news seem to be more cheering now than they have for a long while Vixburg is taken [shure?] according to
