Corinth Miss July 22nd./63 Dear Sister. I now Seat my Self. to beg Indulgence.. while I endeavor to explane.. the caus of my So long neglect,, of your letter.. It has bin Som time Since I received your last letter,, And I have bin calculating on answering. It every day for a week,, but the facts of the case. Is this.. Since I have had the Sore eyes I have don but as little writing, as I could posably get a long with.. my eyes
