Moscow Tenn Sept 4th 1863 Friend Nellie As I have time and apportunity I propose writing you acording to promise. Although I have no news to write of any note you have heard of my safe arrival at Camp no doubt. Theirfore I will say nothing of my trip, except that I had a pleasant time of it. It is time the weather was a little coolor than I had expected to find it but notwithstanding I enjoyed myself very well and was very comfortable all the way down the River. I found the boys all as well as I had left them. We have not as pleasant a camp as
