La Grange Tenns Oct. 18th / 63 Dear Mother & Sisters Although your kindness merrits,, that I Should have written to each one of you, Seperately, yet under the Sircumstances I will take the responcibility,, of contrabuting to you a family letter,, and though It may not be quite as entertaining to all parties,, I trust It will not lack for the amount of Information I thank each of you particularly for your tokens of kindness,, which ware greatefully receaved,, they came all Safe,, and ware just as good,, and I dont no but a little better,, than when they ware put up,, we ware
