I did not learn the loss of the enemy but have heard It Stated at from 70 or 80 men.. .. It was in persuit of them that we ware sent out on this expedition,, we have had very pleasent weather for some time.. It has just bin a bout cool enough for good health But as I wrote a Short time a go I dont think best what I should wary you with too long communications.
