At home Oct 22 1863 I recd your welcome letter this afternoon and was glad to hear from you again although I was not looking for it yet it was more the less welcome It found us all well as usual. I was down to your house yesterday morning a few minuets they were all well Alvin Mary & Susy and myself went down to see Lib last Sunday she seems to be enjoying life first rate Charly seems to be very kind to her. We had a letter from R.M. to day he is well they have got back to Legrange again. I am sorry you are so lame I hope you will soon be better. Oh I do hope you can come home if you could not stay but a week or two it would do us all
