I dont know where I had better direct this, but I guess I will send it to your old post office. Amanda Little Valley. October 25th 1863 Dear Cousin I sit down this evening to write a few lines to you, to let you know how we are getting along and hope this may find you all well. It is so long since I have heard from you I feared there was something the matter. I do not know why all my corispondence neglect me so. I have never heard from Mollie since the first time she wrote to me. The weather is quite cold for this time of the year. we have had but one snow storm, and that was a very small one for it did not cover the ground. How are you getting along with your School, or is it out. Do you intend teaching this winter, or do you intend going. I am shure I do not know whether I shall go or not. Our folks are almost through with there falls work they have the thrashing done and the wheat all in the grainery. We have in all nearly 3000 bushels of
