poor opinion of any lady that splices with any young able bodied man has never been to war but just as like as not the next thing I hear will be that Moly & Nely will be thinking of taking some vagabond. excuse me Ella for talking so but you know I must accuse you of something mean and as that was the meanest thing I could think of I thought I would let you have it. you said I need not caution you & Moly about setting up on [sand?] for you would not be caught in company with any man that could fight for his country now that is the way I like to hear the girls talk if the girls was all of that opinion I think we would have more soldiers and not so many weddings.
