I dont know wheather you can read this or not but this paper is so thin I cant write with a pen. November 29th... 1863 Little Valley. My Dear Cousin I received your kind Letter of November 12th and was glad to hear from you once more and to get your pictures, which I prize very highly. I do not think they resemble any of us. Some think Em looks like Mollie, but I cant see as she does. We are all well at present and hope this may find you the same. We have been having some pretty cold weather for a few weeks, but very little snow, not enough for sleighing yet. We went to meeting three today, which took up most of the day.
