Brother John and his wife were here for dinner. It seems quite lonesome since they'r all left. George & Sam, have gon to the office, Mother and Father are sitting by the table reading, one on each side of me. Em, Sue, and Susie are in the room playing and singing, and I am writing to you. so you see I have told you what we are all doing. I wish you were here with us, I know that we could talk more than I can write. School comences tomorrow but I do not intend going. I know I should go but cannot. we have a verry good teacher., he has taught 12 years. I think he has quite a chance to be a good teacher. There has been quite a number of accidence this fall with fire The Preacher that preached here to day had his house burned down a few weeks ago.
