Hilton Creek. Iowa December 6th 1863 Friend James, I Received your truly Interesting letter on yesterday & was Glad to hear that you had arived Safe to your Destination This is Sabbath Eavening & as I had Several letters to answer I thought that I would Employ my time By writing I received your Letter Last But I guess that I Shall answer it first. I was up to Mrs Talbotts to day to see Nellie She has got the Ulcered Sore throat so She did not feel like talking with us Much... Addie was up with me Turn to the other Page
