Our Successes of late have been both Signal. and complete, I hope they ma be followed up quick and terable untill the last branch of rebellion has bin rooted up.. and the place where It Sprang completely cleared of all Its eavel roots.. and then we will give three cheers. for the Union.. & Uncle Sam for ever.. and go home and tell a bout the hard times we had In dixies land.. {I crave your pardon for Such expresions.. for I dont know but they are completely out place}.. I recieved a letter from home on last eavening.. Ellen was not verry well.. She had a
