as much as you will be but I will try to be contented and hope for the best knowing that God can take as good care of you there as if you were hear, though it is very hard to part with those so dear to us yet God knoweth what is best for us and he will premit us to meet again if it is his will if it is not he will give us grace to bare our cross. and say his will be done we have not heard from R M for a week or two I am rather uneasy but hope they are safe. I recd a letter from Cousin Amanda K yesterday the folks were all well but I must think of closing for my sheet is almost full and. Mary Teeter came up to stay all night with us and she does not think I am entertaining her very well chatting with you all the time but I would not neglect your letters for any of them I just recd it a little while ago and it is now [Sunday?] I suppose Addie told you all about our vizit at the city if she did not I will the next time I write but I close for this time giving you into the care of him who careth for us. Good by yours always Nellie
