We resume our journey are nearing the mouth of cold water - the River is very crooked Our progress is slow WEDNESDAY 8 Out early on our way up the Cold water entered the mouth of the pass in the after noon - Our progress is very slow Left cold water - enter Pass THURSDAY 9 off early with the hope of reaching Helena entered moon Lake at 5 P M Landed at near Helena at 6 - o clock
