In camp in the rear of Vicksburg Colonel Hillis resigns and goes home we draw clothing - I drew 1 Blouse 1 Hat and 1 pair socks MONDAY JUNE 1 Nothing new occured respecting the fight weather warm but pleasant TUESDAY 2 Cannonading going on as usal nothing new transpires to day Lieut Hull resigned wrote a letter to milton
