THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 1863. Camp at Winchester Tenn Remained here during this day with orders to march in the morning . Wrote a letter Home & one to J W Shearer FRIDAY 13 Camp at Windchester Tenn Left this Camp at 8 Oclock and marched to Cowan station & Camped SATURDAY 14 Leave Camp near Cowan and march across the Mountains marched 7 miles and camped upon the Mountains.
