WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 1863. Camp near Bridgeport Orders to march at 7 o clock - Cross the Tenn river and march in the direction of Chattanooga - Camp in the valley THURSDAY 19 Camp 8 miles east of Bridgeport Left camp early and marched till late at night then rested a few hours and again started = crossing the river a short distance below Chattanooga just at day light FRIDAY 20 Took breakfast just opposite Chattanooga while on our way to point on the river some miles above that Town - Remained here during the night
