THURSDAY, DECEMBER 24, 1863. In camp near Stevenson Ala Weather Cool but fair Left camp and marched to Stevenson and after Some delay - marched about 4 miles west of Town & camped for the night FRIDAY 25 Camp 4 miles west of Stevenson Ala - Being on a march - we are very poorly prepared to enjoy Christmas day = Took Christmas in the way of marching 12 miles Camping 3 miles west of Bellfont SATURDAY 26 Camp 3 miles west of Bellfount Ala Raining to day - very mudy march out 5 or 5 miles and Camp near Scottsville
