April Wedsd 1st the day was cold and it snowed all night and day Thurs, 2d the day was nice and warm We got our new sabers and pistoles and in the evening about 10 Oclock we got paid off for 5 months Fryd. 3d Started out on A scout at 3 in the morning and that night we laid on this side of Aldie Satd. 4th we laid in Aldie and scouted around town we lost 1 man killed and 2 wounded and in the eve it comenced snowing and snowed all night Sund. 5 it was still snowing and we went to camp, snow 8 inch Mond. 6th it was nice in the morning and rained in the eve
