April Tues 7th the day was cold Wedsd. 8th thirty of our Co went to Washington Thursd 9th the day was nice and we practiced on the bugles Fryd. 10 the day was warm and we had inspection of horses and arms Satd. 11th the day was clear and we were out on regimental drill Sund. 12 the day was warm and we were on dress parade Mond. 13th our Co and I went out to the bull run battle field to bring in 2 dead bodies that we raised and sent to Pittsburg Tuesd. 14th it was warm to day and we laid in camp
