June Tues 30th we went out to Hanover and thair had A fight we lost of our Co 1 killed 2 wounded and 7 taken July Weds 1st we left Hanover and went to Harrisonburg Thurs 2d went through East Hanover to Huntersville and laid on the battle field Fry 3d went on to Gettisburg and thair we fought all day
