September fry 18 we drove the rebs beyound the rappiden river Sat 19 we started back and encamped 2 miles east of Culpepper C.H. Sun 20 we crossed the river and went to mount Holly Church and on to Heartwood Mon 21st the day was cold and we lay at Heartford Church Tues 22 " " " " " weds 23 we moved down near Falmouth Thirs 24th the day was warm and I lay in Camp all day
