but had become convinced of the errors of the church of Rome. July 25th Left Boston at 7.30 arrived at Centre Harbour on Lake Winipisaukee at 1.30. It is 68 miles from Dover to Boston it took us from 7.30 to 10.10 & this was rather a quick train. There is only one railway class in America the fare from Dover to Boston was $2.50 - they brought iced water round gratis several times - Several woods have been and are on fire owing to the very hot & dry weather. The sugar maple is the best & in fact the only peculiar native tree I have seen yet, its leaves
