parts of the falls & a good view of the Horse shoe fall on the American side of which is a tower on Goat Island. From Goat island we descended by a cork skrew staircase & then went down to the Cave of the Winds underneath the small part called the Central American Fall. Had to change everything then went down a wodden staircase & passage with banisters. when I got down I could see nothing but was blinded by the spray, this however was only quite in the middle of the cave, this is of no depth but is formed & being formed by the spray dashing back after its fall & circling round through the cave then we came out between this
