There is a ferry "to Canada 25 cents" you go down an L of 30 [degrees] by a kind of car worked up or down by ropes so that one car is coming up while the other goes down. Nigger waiters again. From the rocks beyond the Cave of the wind a perfect circle of the rainbow may be seen, we did not see it as the sun was not out when we went down, however sitting down by there the next day I saw 3/4 of a Ole. It is curious thing here how difficult it is to attend to looking at the water thoroughly & yet hear the full sound of its rushing & vice versa. Falls about 180 feet high.
