have seen nothing of Major "JBS" yet hope he will arrive soon. I attended Church today for the first time Since I have been in the Service and it was also my first visit to the City. I Started to Church with my Bunk mate the Serjant Major: The Fife major & Dennis .A. Morrisson, while on the way we put it to vote to see which Church we would go to. Morrissin & the Fife Major voted for the Catholic Church, the Sergeant Major wanted to attend the Methodist & I preferred the presbytarian, but as the majority ruled we went to the Catholic the Priest was a french man. & preached in very broken English the singing was good. The House was full and the Army was well Represented there was in Attendance Soldiers of all grades from Major Generals to Privates. We Returned to Camp by two Oclock and since then I have been very busy Eating Oystes.
