I have Just Received your letter of the 30" dated at Keokuk, Informing me of the offer of a Commission for me. I will accept the Commission, and Reply to it to-night I am quite busy and our last mail goes out at 4 O clock in the morning pleas Inform Jim that I accept the Commissioned offerd & am under obligations to him You had better write to him Immediately for fear my letter does not Reach Him, I will write you again as soon as I can Believe me Ever Your affectionate Husband Frank Malcom
